Nestled in the serene hills of Daringbadi, Odisha, the Daduboda Trek offers a delightful adventure for beginners and seasoned trekkers alike. Known as the "Kashmir of Odisha" due to its cool climate and lush green surroundings, Daringbadi is the perfect backdrop for this rewarding trek.
Why the Daduboda Trek is Special
The Daduboda Trek's summit climb is one of the highlights of this 3-day adventure (including travel from nearby towns to the base camp). While the trek is relatively gentle compared to the more challenging Himalayan treks, the climb is still a test of endurance, especially as you approach the summit.
From the base camp, the summit of Daduboda stands invitingly ahead, and the trail steadily winds through forests and open clearings. The final ascent is steep but manageable, offering stunning views of the surrounding valleys and hills.
Beautiful Clearings and Campsites
One of the unique aspects of the Daduboda Trek is the series of open clearings along the trail. These natural rest spots allow trekkers to pause and appreciate the breathtaking views, while also making for ideal campsites under a starlit sky. Unlike many treks where the forest canopy can feel closed in, the clearings here give you the opportunity to enjoy unobstructed vistas at various points, adding an extra layer of beauty to the journey. Ever since its discovery by local trekking enthusiasts, Daduboda Trek has become a favorite for those looking for a short but fulfilling trek in Eastern India. With its gentle terrain, breathtaking views, fountain, and immersive natural beauty, it's a must-do for beginners seeking an unforgettable trekking experience.
Whether it's the thrill of the summit climb, the charm of the clearings, or the peaceful allure of the forests and fountain, Daduboda has something for everyone.
Dadubada Trek offers a unique adventure for trekkers, featuring a diverse
landscape of waterfalls,
mountains, forests, and turmeric farmlands. Along the way, you'll encounter a variety of
natural wonders, making this trek
a scenic and immersive experience. Considered ideal for beginners, it's a perfect journey
for all ages, including senior
citizens and children.
